I believe the OP quite clearly stated he is a close friend of the Cardinal's, and already confirmed the particulars of his post-capsuleerdom plans.

I have faith that His Excellency Cardunal Graelyn will live out the last of his days/months/years with diligent faith, as he did in the void between the stars.

A corpse is not evidence either. There can be no evidence of death for us infomorphs. There is no evidence that Graelyn is not a Sansha slave now.
