I'm sorry this is EVE-O General Discussion. There simply must be alarmist nonsense. That is how this works.

It doesn't make sense, but it rhymes.

Of course there must be. Just as much as there must be that which opposes such nonsense. A forum full of nonsense. Of course we know CCP isn't listening, but it can still be downright entertaining. But I can make a killer tub of popcorn, nonetheless, and I'm sure some others can too.

I'm in it for the money

Eve died in 2007.

...and what is dead can never die.

EN24 podcast with CCP Fozzie, he says that almost all the missing player numbers are from Highsec... so nope, wasn't anyone waiting for Fozziesov, it was people fed up with the 0.0 focus of the recent patches. I guess.

CCP Quant: Of all those who logon in Eve, 1.5% do Incursions, 13.8% PVP and 19.2% run Missions while 22.4% mine.

40.7% Join a fleet. The idea that Eve is a PVP game is false, the social fabric is in Missions and Mining.

30k players are online at the moment and it's not even a weekend. Saw over 33k players online yesterday. It's higher than in the last few weeks. The online count is increasing. How can this be? With all the foretold prophecies of EVE's imminent death?

Cancel your EVE is dead parties. It refused to die once again.

Obviously due to the Aegis FozSov release. Try posing this thread again in another 6 months P

No need, the last week we saw a return to the decline with even patch day failing to hit the yearly average... The patch didn't even give us a boost, just slowed the bleeding for a day or two.

That's right, just look at the "All Time" graph on Eve Offline. Population is down significantly. Unless, if you don't know how to read a graph.

All of these "Eve is Dying" threads are just players who are concerned about the game.

I'd like to see what CCP is doing to reverse the downtrend. Right now, it looks like they are only trying to maintain the status quo.
