Could someone recommend me a ship for the "Sisters of Eve" epic arc? I think my Tormentor is too weak or I use not the correct fittings.

tormentor is fine, until you get to dagan. You might want to get a coercer then.

Post your fit maybe we can improve it

Yes, for low SP Amarr I'd say Coercer as well. Some fits here: http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Coercer
Should be pretty easy going up until the end where you may likely have difficulties with the frigate.

I'm in it for the money

Since I started, I have only used an executioner. I needed help with dagan, but I haven't had trouble with the SOE arc as well as the level 2 security missions I have been running so far in an executioner

Dagan can tank 100 dps. Unless you can produce more than that, you will never kill him. The intention here is for you to bring a friend to help. Many people use the ISK earned earlier in the arc to purchase a cruiser - it's difficult to produce more than 100 dps using small weapons with low skills.

You can do in frigate up to Dagan.

In Recovery mission, there a cruiser which can damage a target up to 7km. Just orbit the cruiser 9km you'll be fine. Also use weapons+ammo that can hit from 9km.

Also there a destroyer (Corpior Templar) that can damage your ship from 19km. Eliminate it first then finish rest.

Last thing, 1-2 EWAR frigates will spawn upon attacking initial group. Those frigates will distrupt your turrets. You'll want to kill them as soon as possible.

My strategy was to get in their face (1-2 km) and orbit them so they can't track me.

Of course, I was using short-range weapons that could track at that range.

when I ran it I used a destroyer. the one I got for doing the military career agent. I did lose it in one mission, but that was more because I wasn't paying attention, than a ship limitation.

I imagine a tormentor would work for most of it. I remember the last few missions being a bit harder, so as said earlier you will probably want to get a bigger ship for them.

as far as the fit goes I'd probably go something like this, you can fit a coercer with similar mods and get more damage. Bring a few different sets of ammo so you can hit stuff at multiple ranges.
