Have you ever been on a sea voyage where you were unable to see the horizon? That is when the puking starts Pirate

BRB, going to follow suit in game.

FTFY.

*sigh* Second one today. Making a threat against a person is against the rules. Qualifying that threat with "in game" is okay. Ex: Telling someone to "die in a fire" is bad. Telling someone to "die in a fire in game" is okay.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

This thread delivers some hilarious posts and replies.

Carry on telling us all about Gravity.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Duh, it's because there's no gravity in space.

If there was, all the planets would fall down.

According to the narrative imperative, spaceships got to deal with friction due to how they operate. Rabble rabble gravitational disc. Rabble rabble ship swims on that disc.

What annoys me even more is that the game has been coded so that one is actually off by a few degrees when trying to make an insta undock. For the perfect insta undock one must manually adjust ones direction upon undocking. Didn't used to be this way.

If you open the tactical overlay, you can adjust it quite easily, at least for those stations that don't eject you up or down.

Would seem more like real space if there wasn't always an Up and a Down.

My mouse in Descent handled 3D rather well, including a lot of very interesting strafe circling and shooting.

As to gravity, as ever, mouse over.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.
