If you're on your way to EVE Vegas in October, you should consider joining us for a Friday night of fun and games!

Instead of the usual pub crawl we're planning something a little different that we think is going to be a ton of fun...more information on the event and a link to ticket sales in this news item.

If you still need your EVE Vegas tickets you can grab them here!

I was until you changed it from a pub crawl to a gaming night.

New Eden isn't nice. It isn't friendly. It isn't very hospitiable. Good thing there are people here to shoot in the face.

My father was an alcoholic. Because of him i have zero interest in drinking. I hate the taste of alcohol and anyone who says 'you get used to it' i think 'no, i don;t WANT to get used to it' So i tend to get really uncomfortable around drunk people. Its why the pub crawl turned me off. I'd rather not be walking around vegas stone sober in a sea of people being drunk.. cause well.. that pretty much my hell. (note yes i have been drunk, at 34 3 times in my life, and no i did not like the feeling so i just chose not to, if its what your into more power to you, i'm just glad that ccp is giving a different way to have fun if your idea of fun is not being drunk.)

eve fb confirms they are stopping ticket slales till they confirm the event can happen.. sigh, i was kinda excited.

Hello friends.

Unbeknownst to us until this morning, Insert Coin(s), the bar we were having the party at is having trouble. Here's the statement we released on the EVE Vegas FB page just now:

PLEASE NOTE
Statement issued at 09:55 PDT, July 10th 2015
We have just got news of a potential closing of the venue, Insert Coin(s), which was meant to host our EVE Vegas 2015 Gaming Pub Night.
We have therefor stopped tickets sales for the event, but might re-open it once we have a confirmation from Insert Coin(s) that they can honor the agreement we, CCP Games, have with them in hosting the event.
In the meantime we are exploring alternative venues and plans for the event.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.We will be offering refunds to everyone who have already bought tickets to the EVE Gaming Pub Night in case we need to cancel the event or change its format or venue.
Again, we are very sorry for this and waiting for further information to share with you on the event.

We had other ideas before we settled on this one and there's plenty of ways to have fun in Vegas so there's no risk we won't figure out something great for the Friday night if we need to.

On a related note I just have to say I can't wait to meet you all there :)
