Would it be possible to add a small ship status indicator? Basically all it needs to do is show what your ship is doing at the moment. Example:

Warping to X (we already have this)

Active target: X (current SELECTED target)
Orbiting X

or Approaching X


where X is name of other ship, object etc.

Basically what I'm asking for is just an persistent status indicator. Doesn't have to be fancy, just a bit of text so we can see what our ship is doing. How many times have you freaked out when your ship has drifted 50km off of something.
