What drives you to PVP?

Just wondering. Personally, I like to "trophy hunt", taking down expensive T2/T3/pirate ships with a cheap, crappy T1, and overcoming insurmountable odds. What drives you to PVP?

Hunting and killing opponents who think they are safe. Sometimes this gives a good fight and sometimes it ends in a nicely executed trap.

I'm my own NPC alt.

An endless and often fruitless search for 'The Shakes'.

That newbie buzz you got the first time you: leave the newbie system / leave hi sec / first fight / first kill / first solo kill and so on.

It doesn't happen so often these days, but EvE being EvE, it still catches you off guard now and again and it's all worth it.

Being in a fleet with like 9-14 other people, more so the team mentality I guess. Accomplishing crazy fights and trying to get better at specific roles to support people I fly with regularly. I like solo PvP but I get more of a rush from depending on others and having them depend on me than "haha I just crushed some warp stabbed farmer!" Well, there's my .02 isk.

The interaction with people. You don't get that in highsec.

PvP is just an in-game expression of my massive epeen. I wag it about from time to time to scare the neighbors, but put it away before it does any lasting damage.

i just like being able to use booster drugs and overheating. it speaks to the child in me that loves pushing limits until something melts.

its the only real reason to play video games....

i tried single player back in the early 90's.....it was horrific.

i just love the variables involved with rl opponents.
