So who has success with these in pvp situations? ive seen the videos and all that but who else flies these things and is actually effective with them?

i have a vargur pvp fit but trying to find the right situation to use it is pretty tricky so just want to know if anyone flies them regularly

A couple of silly buggers that came poking their nose promptly had it ripped off whilst we were smacking a pos about
but that's more inadvertent than i think you are asking about.

skyflyer i have seen soloing in them since the rebalance,
maby poke him about it

I'm kinda curious about this as well. The videos I see are all just beast mode on gate camps. Dunno maybe one day I can whelp maruaders on the altar of content. Sadly my wallet isn't that flush...yet.Bear

What the videos dont show is how many times the marauders failed :p .... when they do work tho they are pretty awesome, it just isnt very often...

Tournment pvp i've seen some kick-ass Marauder combo's, perhaps not what you was looking for. But well worth checking out Pirate

I have heard durra lexx use them on occasion, sure there will be more, but they recently deployed them to a wh eviction..

Man I remember I saw him come into vacamia with a nestor and proceed to kick the local Russians (8 or 9 of them) from one end of the system to the other,his tally was something like a Hyperion,talos ,several nomens and at least one logic boat.

We were finding teeth in the belts for weeks after it was mad funny.

Man that's a shame.

That would leave big micker, though iv seen mister Hyde flirting with a golum, we will have to see if he ever gets anything good with it.

Find yourself in a situation with a t2 Logi, or even a few proper kiters and it's game over when cap boosters run out.

I just wish the Vargur used the maelstrom model..... makes a lot more sense to me... and looks better lol

well thats true but they can hold quite a few so it would be a pretty long fight

If you're good with your cap boosts you can keep either of the armour ones tanking fairly well but both of them stop shooting as soon as you start to pressure them with neuts and dps.

From dicking around on sisi I know you can pretty much tank Jesus Christ himself for protracted periods of time if they're I'll prepared for you, however if they do happen to have a couple of curses,a legion or bagglehorn ( I'm tired so **** spelling) you will be hard pressed to even take enough of them with you to make it worth while.

This is what I usually see when they do video of their success. Any gang that stayed on field just made a misstake. It's like people seem to think they will be the one to finally make it through the guy's supply of cap booster.

It's called *greed-tackle* and a quite legit strategy. As long as your respective tank layer dips low constantly and occasionally bleeds a little, you can count on at least one of them yelling *HE'S BREAKING". If 1b ship is *breaking*, gang usually sticks.

don't know quite how well that works vs the triple asb shield marauders. Although that will probably shut off their point/web making them not so useful.
