I just thought it might be nice to have a couple of simple structures to allow you to use surplus power for extra cpu and vice versa

like Powerplants and CPU Banks

just to add a little flexability to PI setups

What do people think

Its a common idea. The issue is the amount of cpu and grid were carefully chosen for each command center level. If CCP allowed increasing one at the expense of the other, CCP would also reduce the base value of both. The result would be installations would have the same capability as now, and it would be more effort to set each up.

And yet this is alreay used across every ship in the game. Is it not resonable to beleave that on a lava planet an enterprising engineer whould harnes that thermal power or the tidal power of an ocianic world. Likewise for an increased logistical or computational abbiliy to aid the Command Centure.

By no means would i expect these increases to be fair but it would not be out side the relms of posability

Might be done someday if the CC gets like 5 upgrade/utility slots. Then you can chose what to put in them like with ships.
- Increase 3% CPU
- Increase 3% Powergrid
- Decrease Link coast
- Boost the cargo space of Storages by 20%
- Decrease Processors cycle time by 4%
- Increase ECUs max range by 10%
- Make the extractor autorepeat the program Arrow lol ShockedAttentionQuestion

No but really all I want is a SAVE setup button same as ships have for their fittings. It's killing the fun when I apply the same setup to 36 planets. (clickfeast)

I'd be happy if ccp would lower the grid and CPU cost of the silos, since they're not all that useful. A good structure to add would be an exchange. Other players can build a link to it and sell their goods there and cut out all that import and exporting.

I do like the idea of a save setup button Big smile and the idea of planitary exchange would make corp PI so much easier.

I quite like my PI and i would love to see some iteration on it. So what ideas would people like to put to CCP.
