Eye Box

What's this Eye Box thing that toons are wearing?
It's kind of almost eye shaped if someone said you had to chop a block of wood to an eye shape in less than 4 minutes.
Looks like some kind of DC adapter with an LED or two on it.
Maybe it is a prosthetic eye of the sort that Long John Silver would give his remaining leg to have but I can't help thinking this is the economy national health version of a visual aid repaired with sticky tape across the bridge of the nose.
The future of optical devices would have more aesthetic consideration. Wouldn't it ?

Supposed to look like a sci-fi eye patch and be all piraty and suchlike. Used to be available on the noble exchange and I think I got one in the collectors edition of eve.

Yeah you're right though it looks pretty garbage (no offence to anyone with one)

That's the eye port that HUGH, the freed Borg drone had, and then Jordi was going to feed that visual puzzle into it, that would then go and destroy the whole Borg collective.
So i'd personally avoid it...

I would gladly wear one, but only if CCP implemented Shoulder Fedos.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

a plebeian monocle, pretty sure it came with the collectors edition, or mystery code? (more or less the same thing, but w/e)

SPZ-3 "Torch" Laser Site Combat Ocular Enhancer (right/black) in game.

Also, it's an eyepatch that came with the collector's edition.

Pretty sure it was available before it came out with the CE.. and it was super expensive. The introduction of it in the CE tanked the price. I remember some rather damp and salty whine threads about it back in the day.

I don't. My memory's a bit foggy though. So many threads about monocles.

Mostly ones about the one I currently have on.

I use mine to browse the internet for cats, while I am waiting around in wormhole space.

It also has a laser for cat entertainment, as well as a purr detector. So if a cat is nearby I can make the tactical decision of "pet" or "feed"

I think the price tanked before the collectors edition (either that or I don't know a good opportunity when I slapps me in the face)

I think it was a giveaway from an event shortly before the CE came out. That initial release was to a far smaller crowd as I recall.

It is the SPZ-3 "Torch" Laser Sight Combat Ocular Enhance, and I'm going to make some isk from the ones I have when they become rarer.

During a Dev roam before the CE came out they had those with them, and some dropped. It was never (as far as I know) given out beyond that till the CE was released. It was never available on the NES/NEX.
