EVE Starter guide: Your first few hours

I just uploaded a new tutorial video, normally I wouldn't advertise it like this but I think that for true newbies it'll be well worth watching it as it helps them get to grips with it all.

It's just a very simple practical guide on the basic stuff a newbie will run in to, effectively replacing the old (now removed) in-game tutorial and being more useful than the silly opportunity system. At least that's how I see it.

Oh the in-game tutorial is removed? That'd explain why the new players I talk to are so confused about everything.
I will refer them to this video, I think they'll find it very helpful :)

The old tutorials are still there, they're just not the default.

Hitting F12 and selecting the show career agents button brings up the old style tutorial agents, a list of the agents and their locations can also be found out of game at https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Career_Agents.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I have been making these kind of things for almost a decade now, just under different aliases (just as how this is also an alias).
