If you can have turret and defensive module effects, why not have separate "bloom" type effects for the activation of propulsion mods?

That would allow folks an added way to identify the fast movers visually, and when a scram shut down a MWD.

Not to mention how cool it would look when you lit one off to get moving.

could be cool... Maybe make the engine trailes bigger or the engine lights brighter? that way its just a "show what we already see and make it MOAR BIGGER" prolly easier to code...

Although i just have my MWD sound effects maxxed in the sound mixxer

They were showing off ship thruster effects at the last fanfest, though there wasn't much more detail than pretty pictures/video.
So something might already be in the works, but then again it might be seen as giving away to much information for free (ie. when trying to slingshot someone, or hiding the fact that you are using a MWD by limiting your speed)

Could consider adding a second color into the new exhaust, as if I separate type of exotic fuel is being added as an afterburner.
