I think I got scammed on the character bazaar

He told me that he would wait for the isk to hit the account and then begin the transfer. I transferred the isk on the date that we agreed on but now I haven't gotten a response for 3 days?

What is a reasonable amount of time for these things to take? This is my first time buying a character.

Just looking for a little reassurance and advice. I've already put in a ticket just in case but so far haven't heard back quite yet.

Three days seems unreasonable to me - unless by prior agreement.

You have done the right thing by ticketing it.

Nothing more to do until CCP deals with it.

If you used the character bazaar in accordance with the rules, your isk should be returned.

12 hours max. File a ticket - no scamming is allowed. Link the thread and explain the situation. Show which character you transferred from and to.

Okay. Well I think I followed the rules? I did read them? Here's what I did, let me know if I missed something.

I made an offer but told him I didn't have the isk for another couple days. We aagreed on the forum that on this specific date I would transfer the isk and he said once it hits the account he'd begin transfer. I then responded the day I transferred the isk (on the day we agreed on) from the character I was talking to him on the forums with to the character he posted from. Then I haven't heard from him since then.

And also, just curious, if someone else has gone through this how long does it generally take to hear back / get the isk returned? It was almost all my liquid assets spent on this character and I really needed the income this character was going to give me.

File a ticket, you should get your ISK returned.
