Doesn't beat having a real cat in your real captain's quarters. My co-pilot, Mr. Turd Ferguson, is constantly trying to kick me off my chair ;)

I have three of them, IRL. 2 adult males and a female kitten.
I adore them. They are my very favorite breed.

Your analysis is completely inaccurate and shows you know nothing of the breed.
You must have them confused with Bengals.

OK, it was a broad generalization based on a very small survey group, I admit. That group being the two Maine Coons my family has. But, we may have managed to get the two of the breed with the most obnoxious personalities. That would be about our luck.

My Maine Coons are Ridgeway, Arthur, and Kisa.
Ridgeway is.... and there's no nice way of putting this.... brick-effing-stupid. But he's super-affectionate. Like, dog-level affectionate. Right down to the licking. But, he's so dense. The only thing he's good at is killing birds, rabbits, and squirrels. Probably even small dogs if he ever had the chance.
Arthur might have been born feral (which I admit is really odd for a 100% Maine Coon, but he's still a little skittish around people). He's a stereotype of the breed. He loves his humans, but he's not a lap cat. He'll sit next to you, but not on you. Once he warms up to someone, he's really nice. But still kind of dopey. Also a high prey drive, but too lazy to chase anything... he prefers the ambush and insta-pop.
Kisa is like a mix of the two. And she's the CYA of the group. When Ridge eats too fast and vomits, she'll try to hide it. She also plays look-out.

And, there you have it.... more than most of you ever likely wanted to know about my cats. And that was me TRYING to be to-the-point.

Plot-twist: I'm somehow not single. Maybe because my gf is also a crazy cat lady.

Well, after reading about Fedos in the EVE Lore in one of the chronicles I found out that they eliminate bodily wastes through their skin that gives them a distinctive stench most people find repulsive.

You might as well just squat down and plop a big turd on the floor somewhere in your CQ, make it your pet and name it "bob" cause the smell would be just as bad.

I'll pass on having one of those little stinky vermin in my CQ. I want my Slaver Hound and/or Minmatar slave.
