EvE launcher problems

So i tried to login today in EvE but it seems i cant since the launcher and the game are going CRAZY! Tried the first time to login into the game most of the images in the launcher didnt display properly and when i entered my login credentials i keep getting the play button grayed out. So i tried to login using the exefile.exe from the game folder .. logged into the game now my hangar is play and i keep getting the endless asset loading icon down button. Tried the repair tool..... it finds a new update but fails to download it with the following error

socket.timeout: timed out

Yeah, I get the same thing too, as far as I know there's is absolutely no fixes or even the work arounds wont work either. so......

CCP/Devs/GM's, I think you need to respond to the questions being asked regarding the issues with the icons and the tracking camera plus the many other issues reported including major launcher issues.

It would be advantageous for you to at least respond with something as your paying public are getting very restless.

The work around i have been using for over a month is to change the language then back to English on the launcher before entering my password

I really just can't for the life of me figure out why no one seems capable of looking in the "issues and workaround" forums. Don't come in here complaining about dev's not responding when they've already done so repeatedly in the proper location.

Turning off IPv6 worked for me.
