About the only thing is providing them with the overlay...

signed +1. Seems a reasonable request to be able to see all the battles if CCP want to continue doing the Alliance tournaments.

Yeah... My biggest fear is that they're going to start cutting back more if we don't get involved.
Like cutting next year down to final weekend, and year after down to finals only...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the first round fights still go into reverse ti-di if the fight isn't finished in time? If that's so, that means there is still someone manning the stations during those fights, regardless of if they're being broadcasted or not.

There are many brilliantly talented people who are more than capable of watching the film and commentating on it "post-mortum" in EvE. It would be a shame to miss out on so much publicity in and out of the game because of budget reasons when players themselves would do it for free.

Let CCP make it professional when the real tourney starts.

Even if it's just CCP Whoever running a bit of chatter while we watch - just pick a couple of dudes who are interested and know their stuff, no big deal, uh right? Or get a couple of randomers to watch it via twitch stream and comment on a broadcast voip channel?

I've always found the early fights more fun, when the more experimental setups get a go, before the years competition devolves in to the same dozen teams running marginal variations on the comp of the year. Be a shame to lose that.

I for one so enjoy watching the early skirmishes that the Ally Tourney does bring to my screen, not only is it beneficially educational (to me) it is also a really quite enjoyable spectacle to view.

Please reconsider as per OP as it really is something that adds to the overall exp and enjoyment of (my) EvE :)
