New patch, more missing files in rescache.

So not long after patching up to today's patch I resumed doing my thing when assets began to not load, like station interiors when docked. Looking at a black screen got annoying after a while, as it usually does, so I decided to launch the rescache tool while I would be on a phone call to fix the issue. It's been nearly two hours now and not even at 10% of the download. I don't mind setting aside a half hour or so to patch things up but the better part of a day is a bit much to ask, CCP. Was the launcher not supposed to do all of this awesome stuff on its own, in the background, while I play, without requiring me to manually patch everything? Why am I missing files, anyway? Didn't the launcher download all of these files already? Why are these assets not loading? I was in these same stations before the patch, yet they are not loading now.

Great questions. I would like to see a stop to these updates until they can get their crap together with the launcher.

See petition over in CSM I put up, dealing with issues, bugs, and the fast track release scheduling. Then decide from there what can be done.

Agreed, very annoying, seems most of the graphics files we did have got lost / erased and have to download 2 - 3 gigs of files again.

Yep, day 2. Still at less than 10% of those rescache files.

Two hours and counting attempting to update the SiSi launcher today, watching it progress a few kilobytes every ten minutes is almost as exciting as watching my grass grow.
