What about Neuting Astero? Elite solo pvp. Neut drone astero?? hisec

So what about a nice fit for astero and some tactics to like go to backwater hisec systems and talk trash to the missioners and miners with a yellow astero?

Great drone skills. Not so great laser skills tho.

Neuting Astero sounds like a good idea, certainly one of the fits I have stored. Change of modules and a mobile depot allows for freedom. ^_^

Im googling Neuting Astero and Astero Neut pvp and bunch of other versions, checking on zkill osmium, battleclinic.
Nothing!

It only gets drone hitpoints and armor resistance boosts. No weapons.

Why no neut astero drone hisec pvp solo fits?

Did i just invent something??

Nope. It's been around for awhile. Hell... it was a thing before FW complexes prevented cloaking within 30km of the "button."

(hint: use it like a cloaky-active tank Tristan)

This might be an old fashioned idea, but why not actually log into the game and try some stuff out for yourself?

You never know. It might happen that you come up with a new fit and then instead of you trying to be a follower, you'll be a leader. Pretty cool, right?

You need a full set of genolutions to make it work, but a shield tanked neuting / scrambling astero is very doable ( did a bit of EFT warrioring ). 17 minutes of cap, while keeping prop mod, hardners and neut running, and 125-150 DPS, while you have 11k EHP, that's a tough little frigate with quite a bit of firepower right there.

Brave is a null sec elite pvp alliance, not sure why it's not yet come up with astero doctrine. That's why this guy is chasing this info bere and there but no luck.

Speaking as the guy who invented Astero PVP (it's true, check the killboards for yourself) the main problem it has is that 1 or 2 small neuts are not efficient at neuting out a target, and the small neut drones are about equal to half of a small neut.

This menas that if you forego your covert cloak you get 2.5 small neuts and no DPS, or 2 small neuts and drone DPS.
WIth a cloak you get 1.5 small neuts and no DPS, or 1 small neut and drone DPS.

Contrast that with the neut tristan which gets 3 small neuts and its full drone DPS, and the neut Astero emerges as poor compared to the neut Tristan.
