Launcher stuck at creating patch 0.0%

i launch the launcher it start creating patch then stops at 10% resets back to 0.0% then its stuck there for the past hour


i have tried the new launcher thing from the sticky but it does not work.


can anyone help me out please

yup, same here..... "Downloading EVE Launcher update" runs to the end of the bar then resets to the beginning and progresses ever so slowly, seemingly stopping for a few seconds each tick.

Mine doesn't even start. Says, "Downloading EVE Launcher update" but never moves. Left it over night...nothing. Tried the repair tool and still nothing.

You have to delete your test folder and copy it back over from your Tranquility client. Then follow the usual steps and it'll patch normally.

i have tried this 10 times its still stuck at creating patch 0.0%

I have noticed that this only happens to me when i try to update at work which we have a proxy server.
At home i have no problems.

2 things that worked for me so far:

deleted "launcher" folder in Eve folder and then run repair.exe, worked 2 times so far.

and right now i got it working by connecting to a freevpn services. Eve is updating, slowly i must add but
cant expect too much from a free service, first time i got it working since friday.

Hope it helps someone.

EDIT: tested the vpn route again today 23/07, it worked again.
deleting the "launcher folder" only helped when there was a newer launcher version out.
