Installing eve client on new pc....how?

As above today i got my new gaming rig, got it all sorted and started to install stuff.

Came to eve page and selected "already have an account download eve online now" so far so good the installer downloaded and i then selected to run that, next up pops the launcher which proceeds to download some files and install them in the default location of my new rig.
launcher does what it needs to do and downloads are done i the enter my account name and password and click play, the play button is a kind of grey color and that is as far as i have got. I am pretty sure i do not have all of the game installed on my drive, so what do ineed to do to finish off the installation?

One of the current workarounds with the Launcher from Hek local, Grey Bar/Button of EverWait issue...

Try changing the language on the Launcher, then back to your usual. This Sometimes will kickstart it into finishing whatever it's doing with itself and give a yellow button to play, or in your case, finish the downloading on the client.

If that works, qap'lah. Then wait like the rest of us for an actual patch/update that gives a stable working Launcher to the unwashed end user masses.

After going through the ticket process and uploading multiple files, I have the feeling CCP doesn't know what' causing the issue -- and I didn't get the impression they are taking it very seriously either. Ugh

If you run the Eve Launcher and the play buton still on grey, just leave the launcher for some time, like 20min+/- and if still on grey
try to run repair.exe you can fins that file under your eve instalation folder.

i am running windows 7

left the launcher as it was with greyed out button for 1hr made no difference except i got incredibly pissed off with it.
changed the language to french, game launched, switched back to english and got the grey button.
repair tool was as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

unistalled eve downloaded the offline installer which consisted of 5 packs to download about 1.8gig each let it do its stuff once finished rebooted pc and eve is now working fine.
