Sorry if this is common sense, I've been unable to really enjoy this game beyond a day or two since Feb and when I uninstall it takes me a very long time to connect to CCP's servers to download anything :((

The launcher issue is another problem.

I've read about two possible solutions:
1. Don't use the launcher, start directly via the EVE.EXE instead.
2. Change the language option in the launcher, then change it back. You'll have to repeat everytime you start the launcher.

Thanks for the reply Tau. The launch language change doesn't work for me unfortunately -- and there's no way for me to patch the game to use the .exe file.

I'm pretty bored atm Googling Star Citizen atm, but am open to additional ideas on how to connect for sure!

Did you try running repair.exe? That patches.

But yes, you can use the full installer in lieu of patching... but it is a 7 GB download!

I love you! Lol ive been trying to redownload the game for like 3-4 hours from the website but it just refuses. This torrent might take a long time but at least its DLing!

More people seeding means better connectivity, and faster downloads.
