25% Increase to command bonus or mining Foreman Link Modules.

Replaces mining Foreman skill bonus with fixed 15% Laser Range and 15% Capacitor Bonus.

Go read your thread about overheating mining beams. The rules of economics I put there would also apply to this idea.

It's optional between the mindlink with yield and the mine link with cap and range.

If strip mining is done right, they are assets.

Ohhh, it's "optional." Well, that makes this idea that increases yields for entire fleets perfectly acceptable then. Because we all know that Orca and Rorqual pilots have much more important things to plug into their heads besides implants that further increase their boosts. You can forget what I said earlier, this idea totally won't cause an increase of available minerals on the market, thus driving prices down and making miners actually earn less if they don't have have boost provided by someone with this implant.

I have to give you props for completely missing the point they are trying to make.

If you add something this good, then it becomes the only logical mindlink for a mining boosting character to use.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

It becomes mandatory to not be a scrub, like incursion boosters swapping over to faction mind-links the very day the changes hit. It was a good day for me isk wise, but several people with boosters were wincing at the cost of the switchover at the time.

I have always like the idea of An Ore Overseers mindlink with shield and mining links along the lines of the navy links but...

Yes.

A faction mindlink could go several ways.

Shield and Cycle
Range and Cycle
Range and Shields
Shield and Range.

Any would be a useful suggestion for a Faction Mining Foreman Link.

anything providing an edge becomes mandatory where isk/hr is involved.

apropos of nothing, don't kid yourself about tank fitting an exhumer vs fitting for yield, fitting for tank is to prevent losses and interruptions to isk/hr.

A mindlink boosting resists or buffer means modules can then be switched over to yield boosting, which is just as bad if not worse than providing greater group yields. Circumventing other ganglinks so the bonuses of the orca or rorq for ganglinks actually apply to shield or armor is far too much of a bearbuff. The exhumers have had their pass, orca is working as intended, rorq...
well rorq is due for its lookover. Mining ganglinks are overly powerful in fact, and i wouldn't mind seeing a nerf to their yield bonus, and i am a miner.

Higher ore prices and less hauling would suit me just fine, your idea is counter to both.

tldr:
unsupported, -1 stacking bad idea bonus
