CCP - Remove Bubbles From Gates

Make it impossible to bubble 100kms or less from a stargate.

Probably be easier to ban gingers roleplaying page 3 girls tbf. Or at least confine them to the IGS forum.

Bubbles near gates is like the walnuts and marshmallows inside Rocky Road. They are delicious. Why would you get rid of them?

You wait for them to decloak and in the short period they appear on screen, burn at them.

Bubble up before the chance to warp and then drop a second bubble partly overlapping the first.

Then with both ships burning around, hope to get within 2000m and decloak them. Even with MWD cloak attempt it's usually possible to get them if your ships are fast and agile.

Just need to be able to drop more bubbles if the ECM Burst breaks lock, which it often does.

The Viator takes a while to burn through shields but then it drops quickly.

Pilot error usually, after that it's going left when she should have gone right.

The daredevil will have moved to decloake and got lucky enough with the op being slow on the ball and not moving quickly out of his path.

Even with a MWD and cloak, by comparison to the speed of a Daredevil the Blockade Runners are slow. If you are watching closely you get an indication of the direction they are heading.

If you don't see which way then you guess shortest route out of the bubble and back to gate and then burn loosely along that sort of path.

As long as you can catch them in that first bubble, the ability to decloak is surprisingly good. Not always, but about 6 times out of 10.

The more difficult ones to catch are the pilots that burn in an unexpected direction, back through the first bubble at an angle to where the Sabre was when it dropped it. Then the advantage you have is that they will be in that first bubble longer and once that MWD cycle ends they are moving fairly slowly. I wouldn't call it a mistake not to do that. It's a good pilot that does and it improves the chance of escape.

What difference does that make?

It's nullsec. Kill all the things first and ask questions later.

From the other perspective though, if you're going to lose one, carrying cargo seems to have no affect on the extent of the resulting whine.

I'm assuming you've just been blown up by a gatecamp in Nul and you lost an expensive ship. Well the answer will always be a no. If CCP didn't want that PvP presence on gates then they would have removed bubbles a long time. There's a good reason why NulSec is that for a reason.
