Increased Calibration Cost, reduced drawback.

With added bonus' to chosen enhancement.

Better then T2 bonus'.

you'd look for this in in the links above op...its the big reason why it gets unliked.


CCP with deliberate intention wants a say gun t2 rig that in no way allows for a 2nd rig of the same type to fit. Fill in any other really calibration expensive t2 rig for effect you have in mind.

Eve is sandbox, yes. However even sandboxes have walls. Or else....overtime that sand will escape the sandbox and you have no sandbox at all. In terms of eve I believe ccp has a magic number for a limit as to what a ship can do. This number found by mixing and matching everything, including rig combo's.


Your reduced drawback also not a good selling point. To even be remotely viable, it be the other way around. MOAR drawback. Case of my 1 t2 gun rig I may run now....I play fitting grid games often after its fit. Some call this balance. My guns more shooty in some way...something else has to give. I don't need a better rig that frees up cpu for more potentially imba fun.

See, you are thinking well I can't get 2 or 3 rigs on with this (t1,t2,t3 depending). I am thinking I don't have all slots must be filled ocd and if that 1 rig on my t2 ship gives me the kick ass effect I want...I won't be breaking out in cold sweat going can't fit 2nd slot, omfg....help help the OCD won't let me sleep at night. TBH....I have some ships my 2nd (or 3rd) rig slot is actually a junk slot and fill in whatever the hell goes there if only to appease my masters when in a pvp corp if they get nitpicky about empty slots.
