downloading launcher update

not works. i have grey progress bar, launcher does notthing, logs show oly that update wass initiated but notthing more

Same problem here my launcher started the downlaod but then just stopped and never carried on

Also confirming this problem with the launcher update, it only shows the gray bar and nothing else...

looks like it cant connect to cdn ? but cdn seems to be working. strange

launcher turned rogue on us. it loads nnormally but download is initiated just it does not start at all

Same reply, different thread...

Workaround:

Create a shortcut to the Repair.exe within your Singularity installation

Edit the PROPERTIES

In the TARGET box ADD to the END 
--server=sisi


Hit Ok.

Use your shortcut and let it run.



Next step:

Now open your bin folder (inside the same folder we're already in)

Make a shortcut to the exefile.exe

Edit the properties

In the TARGET box ADD to the END 
/server:Singularity

Also

You can use the /noconsole argument to suppress the cmd linel that appears.

/server:Singularity /noconsole


After running the repair tool to force an update my shortcut used is the following

"G:\CCP\EVE - Singularity\bin\exefile.exe" /server:Singularity /noconsole


I can confirm I had the earlier problem and fixed it with this.

Unfortunately the self update feature of the launcher broke and it requires a new launcher install: See this sticky post
