TerminalDogma clone soldier locates anomalies on planetary surface.

While fighting on Luminaire III, a TerminalDogma located what appeared to be a structure of some kind we had not seen before. Nearly as tall as the clone, and about as wide as two standing next to each other, the structure had a strange field we were unable to identify floating between two towers. Given that a clone soldier has little reason to worry for their own safety, we instructed this member to for lack of a better phrase, poke it with a stick. The result was the clone soldier getting thrown through space onto another location on the same battlefield, similarly to a very short distance wormhole. The battle was between Kaalakiota Corporation and Federal Intelligence Office.

This was present in the Caldari Home System? directly below a Duvolle Laboratories Station?

Can they get any kind of readings from it? Gravimetric? Radar? Ladar? Magnetometric?

If not, tell them to try running scans for antiparticles and space-time or quantum fluctuations, then have them report back to you their findings.

Do you have any suggestions as to how a clone soldier might accomplish this? Of further note:

Projectiles fired through these anomalies do not appear to transport to the other side, nor do grenades, rockets, or other items. Only clone soldiers appear to move through them.

This is interesting. This is the second unknown structure or anomaly that has appeared planetside. Further research should be done.

I'm sorry, but I'm a Dust soldier on my free time... And I'm preeeeety sure that's one of the personal warp portals active in the academies to support rapid deployment. Very flimsy and experiemental tech!

Could be wrong though!

You are more or less correct. These devices only appear via acceptance of very specific contracts. More commonly trod battlefields do not contain these 'anomalies' as Classiarii Operative will attest to.
