your support ticket ques are too long. if it takes your GM staff longer then 72 hours to answer a ticket, then you need more staff, better efficiency, or both.

Why interns?

you don't need to pay them anything but experience.

you can work them like a slave.

if your support staff happens to click really well with an intern you can offer them a job after their contract is up and higher them for real. bonus, they are already trained for the job and know the staff.

Some countries no longer have slavery and even interns have to be paid real monies as local law dictates.

If you like not being paid for work you can always give away your earnings to CCP so they can hire more people. This would mean we wont be seeing your subscription anymore i guess. But I think i can make that sacrifice.

unpaid internships are pretty common in Iceland, look it up. Why do I need to donate my income for service I've already paid for?

Promotion of slavery coming from a Minmatar character. The irony is strong in this one.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Also i have never had a support ticket take longer then a few days to be dealt with...

Well barring that time i support ticketed an RMT site i found on google (pith a-type em ward amp price" finds more then a prefilled eve-central thing it seems) but i suspect that was just them needing to verify the site or something:S

Ssoraszh Tzarszh why do I need to move to Iceland to help CCP run their business? And speak for yourself, my tickets are always legitimate. Also personal attacks are not exactly constructive in a suggestion thread, just saying.

While the support queues are rather long - it took them just over a week to even have a person respond to my support petition (my launcher has not worked for the past two weeks, despite multiple reinstallations), I am not sure this is on topic for this forum.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Why not interns?

Because tickets, especially the ones that take a while to resolve, often contain sensitive personal info and involve quite a bit of decision making on part of the GM handling it. Even if it means that I have to wait a bit longer for it to be resolved, I would much rather have my tickets handled by a trusted CCP employee than an intern who doesn't have much(if any) experience with EVE and being a GM.

Also, in my experience, all the critical tickets get handled within 15 minutes from submission, and the others rarely take more than two days.

72 hours! How very unbecoming....

You know, there was a time when it would sometimes take 2 weeks to receive a response. 72 hours warranted a cordial response, not a whine thread.

Out of ~80 tickets, the longest time to response was 65 hours for a reimbursement on a rather large number of very expensive items from during a mass DC related to da lizards wot got stomped. Most petitions I have filed have had a response within 24 hours, which is quite reasonable.

This.

Eve is a type of IT enterprise. Our company has a summer hire program. All the kiddies come back home to live with mom and dad overseas for the summer when out of school (I support the military overseas). Lots of sections besides the IT section I work at love to use them. We don't. IT like spiderman lives under Uncle Ben's advice....with great power comes great responsibility.

Put another way we don't roll the dice on a potentially flakey intern wrecking what we have set up. It takes mere seconds to ruin the trust you have with clients that you built up over years. Intern may not care if they mess up. Late aug early September they are back at school. Us wage slaves...to keep that wage coming do care. we are also here months to years after bad events go down. Ergo....we try like hell to make sure bad things don't happen.

An intern can hide a bad mistake...they just don't mention the internship. Me...if fired for something really bad it kind of stands out. So you worked for you company for 12 years and you checked off do not contact my supervisor? A smart potential employer would wonder why that is.
