So I was thinking and randomly thought how cool it would be to have like a virtual space pet in eve which lives in your captain's quarters.

U would have to feed it and maybe train it and show affection. In return it will go and maybe provide skill training speed buffs.

There may even be like racing competitions like with horses where ISK can be earnt and u can buy cosmetics for them.

Not only would this provide a use to the captains quarter, it could also form a whole new part of the eve economy where people try to buy and sell the best breed of racing space pets.

I do have pets, they are called Minmatar scumbags and they work onboard my ship and are granted whole 2 hours of sleep, every week or so. They should be grateful.

I'd have a Goon.

And then flush it out the air lock.

The worst part of this idea is in bold. This game does not need more mandatory "skill training speed buffs."

The rest of this idea is merely silly and pointless.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Original idea, managed to get some bites. Needs more work on creating threadnaught-size outrage.

I want a pet asteroid.
One I can chain to the rear of my ship and use as a morning star to smash other ships meanwhile I bump.

Like pet rock, except bigger.

Way bigger... Pirate

if we are going to start a fresh bad ideas thread...

- Jettisoning erotic dancers with an alloyed tritanium bar should work like grid wide ECM as everyone gets distracted by the pole dancing girl in a box.

- Crowd funded space banzai trees. We need to keep up with the times people!

- Jettisoning oil should blind pursuers and make them lose control. its a classic.

- Materia (nuff said)

- choosing a red skin for your ship should make it go faster

- A Cold-Blooded perk that makes you immune to targetting and cannot be seen in local.

- Aura should shout 'double/multi/ultra/M-M-M-M-M-M-M-MONSTER-kill' when i get several kills in quick succession.

EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"
