[Visuals] MWD (and shield?) lensing effect

So the MWD increases a ship's signature. I imagine that this is because of some sort of lensing effect due to the deformation of the space around the ship.

How about adding a visual effect that creates some sort of lensing around the ship, looking somewhat like the center of a WH, that would make the ship appear bigger, proportionally to the sig radius gain ?

It would add some visual feedback to the sig increase.

Taken to the extreme, this could also be extended to all sig radius changes, due to shields, shield rigs, MJDs, TPs, skirmish links, the presence of a ragnaros titan or t3 subsytems.

PS: This is not entirely serious, I just found the idea funny.
