And you should be able to choose what trade off you want to make. I'm trading off medium drones for mining drones and light drones, but I can't do that properly because 50m3 is missing (which again, is ridiculous).

Is CCP want to design the hulk to hold 1 full cycle, then make it one, not 1.99

It actually can't hold more than 1 cycle. With max boosts and yield, one full cycle is about ~4490 m3 of ore.

That's why most of us multi-box miners fit a bit more tank to the Hulks and/or forgo using Modulated Strip Miner II's to get a bit less yield so we only need to move ore out of the ore bay once every 140seconds.

Going for max yield fit and Michi's + Highwall Mining implants + boosts and t2 crystals, well.. that requires more micro-managing.

Instead of fixing Hulks, CCP should roll out the capital Mining ship and we'll all be happy. 6 Capital Strip Miners, 400.000m3 ore bay and compressor rolled into one, beep beep, coming through.

I actually like this even if I will maybe never fly this ship lol.

No, what you're actually is getting more yield for more management. If you want less management, reduce your yield and it'll all fit.

That's the real trade, yield for management time.

Stepping the cycles on your strips is super hard Sad

But that requires effort, which OP is trying to avoid.

And what if they wanted to design it to hold more than one cycle so using one wasnt so much a chore, but less than two so it was still a deterrent to multi-boxing with too many of them?

We do not need to buff multiboxers / afk miners, imho. Rather support something like two suggestions in my signature. That would make mining more interesting and more rewarding.
