You were flying a big red bullseye in a PvP game.

EDIT: Looking further, I'd like to point out that you killed someone in a Shuttle while flying an Astero. Was that a fair fight?

That's what unrestricted PVP is. That's what war is, what combat is. You don't see snipers or tank crewmen getting out to "fight infantrymen fairly." Attack helicopters, guided missiles destroy them, but they destroy you. Rock paper scissors.

EDIT: It's a game. Pixels. You can get a replacement ship. If you're not having fun being prey, start hunting others, get in a combat ship, lock targets, and shoot. Make friends who can back you up in the fight.

poorly fit navy scorp with lots and lots of shiny loses to proteus.

you did something bad that allowed someone to shoot you, and thus broke your golden rule of only pvp when you can win.

Thing is 95% of you are cowards in a fair fight...If you and x amount of friends can' win, u run. Every damn time. Don't pretend you're a Knight when the reality is you're a squire at best and need to rely upon SP over newbies. Just saying....

Nature isn't fair. Nothing is fair. It's perfectly realistic to get beaten down by surprise
or "unfairly", simply because that's how it works. Animals group up or surprise you and kill you.

I completely get where you're coming from. Just remember that people shoot others for the tears. They live on the grief of others when there's no reason at all it should suit them to do what they do, such as shooting newbie's ships outside of station dock.
