I think given today's news from the SCOPE, Mr. Singularity's questions bear a little more weight.

Looks like 'our' questions made the The Scope scroll bar at 1:12. Nice to see 'we' actually have a voice.

The gathering storm is gathering.

You clearly have a voice, sir.

... after seeing the recent footage, though, it respectfully seems like some of your questions are pretty easy to answer.

Why does CONCORD record the Drifters as a corporate entity? ... probably so they, and we, can track their doings through existing systems.

Why does CONCORD not move against the Drifters? ... probably because of the old joke about what a thousand kilo feral ape does.

... that is, respectfully, "Anything it wants."

Uh... hmmm....

I'm not sure this is an official response from CONCORD.

I know I've seen his face before.

So, what will this mean for us?
just generally asking.

Are we going to be able to Resist and repel? Let alone combat the drifters, with or without CONCORD support.

Also if CONCORD haven't received what they want, will they still sit and wait, or will they stand with us to protect the space they patrol?

I'm not fully sure what we should be looking forward to much less if it is going to be hopeful or even eventful!

This waiting thing sucks but at lest there is little time to continue to speculate and possibly prepare...
for events of grand scale or an event as open as dark matter.

what i do know as a single player with my small Corp, im willing to fight for New Eden if so the Drifters do move against Capsulers, the civilian mass for there reclaim objective, or the general known space of New Eden for there objective to gain resources and territory to expand there ways.

Im just hopeing that when i/we show up for this, were all in together to say hello and o7 as we face the Drifters for the first time, until they have stopped or Drifted else were.

looking forward to the future of the New, New Eden

Assuming they have hostile intentions I don't know we'd be able to take them on with or without CONCORD, the Drifters have shown they have more than enough firepower to destroy anything that comes their way.

Also, after checking various areas around the Molden Heath area I found no Drifter activity, so I was unable to watch any's movements.

Come to Domain. More than enough Drifters around the area to watch, bump (hilarious, actually) and shoot.

As for the query: Laughable, to say it mildly. Insignificant capsuleers can mind their own business and tear themselves apart. CONCORD neither owes them any explanation or further details nor have capsuleers any right to demand access secret intelligence or reasoning behind CONCORD decisions. This is especially the case because capsuleers keep aggressing the Drifters and further the tensions without need.

Interesting how you as the figurehead of an empire (or was that Imperium) known for its destructive tendencies think that you can petition an authority which your "subjects" regularly challenged and thwarted in its efforts.

Also, while you were assembling fleets to wage a war against the Amarr Empire you consider to be ruled by an illegitimate empress, others have already been busy with developing strategies against the Drifters. The independent capsuleers of New Eden have long lived, fought and died without the help of CONCORD or any other major power, and we will continue to do so.

Out of curiosity, since CCP seems to pay some attention to this thread: Are there going to be real and meaningful ways for capsuleers to support the Imperial Navy, Emperor Family, the heir families and/or other Amarr Empire corporations (or any other NPC faction for that matter, if you want to support someone else) in their fight against the Drifters once whatever starts that you couldn't keep a secrete on Sisi? This has been bothering me since the Prophecy trailer. I have no intent to let capsuleers advance further in that regard or with the now arising drifter crisis. Or can I just watch from the sideline as my favorite faction gets torn apart? (this outlook is not me underestimating the Amarr Empire capabilities, but rather being realistic about CCP's recent actions and plot twists against the Empire.)

From the Symposium of Emergent Threats... Cardinal Hilmar stood before the assemblage and made these proclamations...

"Less talk, more action"

"No more Manifest Destiny"

"The Capsuleers shall shape the events of New Eden"

These proclamations are true, as he speaks true. You are seeing the events transpire just has he has proclaimed. You are a part of the story, we are a part of the story, I am a part of the story. Be bold pilot.

concord is not stupid or inept. I promise you they know things that they are not telling us and that they are preparing, quietly. Personally I suspect that the reason for all the secrecy has to do with the current status of the jove directorate. It's possible that concord may be working to secretly get the empires into a more unified front before we see any indication of their own intents.

I cannot be part of the story in a way that I see fit for me. I cannot be bold in a way that is in line with my expectations. So, CCP, will there be ways for me to be bold and shape the story? Roll

I'll offer a simple response to this request.

"Submitted per your right" entitles you to the same right as any other capsuleer in the cluster under CONCORD law, regardless of Imperial title or standing.

The Directive Enforcement Department deals in interstellar law, not the politics of the five houses.

If you have a request to make relating to information release from the DED, feel free to contact your local representative of the Imperial Chancellor, who will bring your request to the attention of the Imperial delegate to the Inner Circle, and the Imperial Minster of Foreign Affairs.

With that in mind however, the information you request is still regarded as classified, so it may save you some time to simply wait for the DED to make a public statement once our findings are complete.

We have nothing further to add at this time.

I believe you will need to disseminate some kind of information very soon, the more warlike amongst us are getting restless and I'd hate to see an unnecessary war triggered with the Drifters if it turns out they aren't necessarily a threat to the Empires.
