Hello people ! ( CCP hear me pls )

Im a loyal dog, erm i mean loyal Customer/Client since 2004, an active player i would say.

650days+ with an average of 4 hours playtime each day.
!

Only 2600 hours of game time in 11 years? That's not a whole lot... (adds up to about 30 minutes per day)

Why exactly should that make you eligible for more rewards than players who've played for 4000 hours in 5 years?

My apologies its =

674d 17h 25m total online time. ( Daily average 4h 01m 27s )

Roughly 16176 hours.

And im not much afk Blink

You 10yr vet pilots were told you were going to get a vet station how many years ago now?

You think they are going to pay absurd UPS shipping and handling charges to each and every 10year vet around the world just so they dont have to make a new station?

Hell I bet they could take an already existing station, decloak it in some random highsec system with some story about ancient technology and it only allows capsuleers that are 87658 hours old to dock for some reason.

Probably would need to train a x28 skill to 5 as well lol

My 2005 toon just had it's 10th birthday 2 weeks ago. 10 years of yearly subscriptions = 3,650 days though I probably only average about 2 hours a day so perhaps 7,300 playing hours.
My 2008 toon is a month shy of 7 years of yearly subscriptions, also averaging about 2 hours/day so that adds another 2,555 days (and 5,110 hours). I suppose I could add in the other 4 toons that I have on yearly subscriptions for the last 6 years (another 8,760 days or 17,520 hours of game play).

That would give me a total of what, 41 years of paid playing time ? (I don't want to even think about how much I've paid to CCP just in subscription fees over that time. Argh - couldn't help myself - seems it's a bit over $5,300 US or about 1/3rd of what I've spent on PLEX over that same period apparently - that sucks !)

Tell you what, a State Issue Raven for each of my (paid) accounts and we'll call it square !

We'll reduce it to "**** all" for every account you have and call it square since you already got everything you paid for.

I was thinking about this the other day and my 10th year anniversary is coming up in about 6 days.

I remember the 3k peeps at peak, roll backs, huge lag, all the doomsayers saying that the servers will burn once we hit 7,500, 10k, 15k etc. etc. Pedobears, threadnaughts over T20 and RKK love fest, FOE, Ginger Magician, the pain in the **** called SOV. removal of learning skills.....etc etc

As much pain and aggravation we all have lived through, I would do it all over again. Except the SOV thing because that was an utterly **** idea.

CCP does not owe me a damn thing, and i owe them nothing short of what we both agree on. Which with my subscription I am allowed to play with their pixels. And not in a gay way...because they do indeed have women working for CCP now. Twisted

But as far as the little nerds bloviating about "bitter vets" are owed nothing, yeah get bent, you the refuges of what ever socially challenged game you crawled from owe the bitter vets at least a thank you for maintaining and sticking with a game that at times (many times) would discourage the most hardened neck bearded basement dweller.

now, get the **** off my lawn.

SOE used to give special ingame-items to veterans. If I remember correctly you didn't even need to be subscribed the whole time. Simply 5 years from caracter creation you couls claim reward x.

Real live examples are harder to come by. When I was a kid we stayed in the same hotel in the alps for four years. Another year and we would have gotten somoe sort of certificate a token of appreciation. We went to Denmark instead.

Like " Thx for playing and supporting us for such a long time" ...
Have you handwritten and sent the developers a well thought out letter?
Maybe one to each team thanking them for particular features?
No?

Did you ask the postal service to get the post delivery people to hand write letters to everyone they deliver to?
Maybe you think that developers should be falling over themselves and be grateful to be doing their job?

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Spam of EVEmail will suffice?
CONCORD would give you warning about too long time spent in a capsule and some drawbacks this situation could have for you, like wrinkled skin or spontanous eyewatering.

Some comments are pretty near the "shut up, your not allowed to ask anything" border.

Asking a question seems to be wrong, so i wonder why do we still need forums then ? Smile

Also asking something isn't wrong where i live, no clue where the others live but some prefer a dictatorship i think.

I readed alot of hate, for just asking something...

SWG is out of business, but I have experienced LoTRO anniversary recently. You got a package, content of this package varied with years your account was old. The common ingredient that everyone had were fireworks (!), permanent feature - the portrait frame new graphic (!), for older account some potions or scrolls (!).

All of this is worth very little for me. Roll

Frostys only quoted a part of my post , that post also said that i don't need nor want anything for being a 10+ vet.The enjoyment i had from eve in itself is far more then i ever wanted.
He quoted me because he was under the impression i could not give such an example , thanks to you we now have 2 MMORPG examples .

Well, I don;t have anything agains such features too, but I would like them to be more personal, like a mail from CONCORD official, with a wish for a quick improve if you are below -5.0 security. Or some gratuitous words if you are at 5.0. Every year they could sent such mail with claimable things we get.
Let your deeds speak for themself.

And this warning mail if you spend too much time in game (in capsule), like one year logged in...

From a movie, but its abit the same for some old EvE players.

I've… seen things you people wouldn't believe… Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those… moments… will be lost in time, like tears… in… rain. Time… to die…

Fountain alliance, Norad alliance, Bob alliance, Phoenix alliance, Curse alliance, G alliance, Red alliance, ASCN, corps like Euphoria Released, Outbreak and Celestial Apocalypse, even ATUK ( enemies but respect ) and yes Mo0 the evil pirates and later Teddybears lol.

I believe that i have the right to >ask< for something small, this is a forum afterall.

A no i have, a yes i can get, thats why people tend to ask something Blink

Dude, this is EVE. If you want free dev stuff, then you stalk a dev, ambush them, and loot their remains.

Errr... wait, were you referring to out of game stuff?

Uh, disregard what I said previously and instead try to scam (social engineer) the autograph out of them. (Because, This. Is. (Still.) EVE!) I find restraining orders to be a great means of getting peoples' autographs without them realizing it as such. (Be sure to get the original document and not a copy.)

Big smile

/humor

But seriously, if you want Dev stuff, you should be required to hunt them down in game, collect a token, and then redeem said token for your out-of-game autograph (or sell the token on the market.)

Vet rewards?

How about some geritol, metamucil and a glass by the table for our teeth. Follow up with an official eve pillow for nap time because some of us old vets just cant stay up late like we used to.

When it comes to PvP, I am like a chiwawa hanging from a grizzley bears pair of wrinklies for dear life.
