    I'm interested but Advanced Spaceship Command says level 2
    but needs level 5 to fly charon? Eveboard mistake?

    It was grandfathered in I am sure. The skill requirements were changed a few years ago.

    As stated before, the OP was able to fly a freight before the skill change.
