Hi,

My partner and I are looking to do some lowsec PVP. We thought about ships to use and decided on dual Arbitrators since we're armor specced.

[Arbitrator, Neut PVP Arbitrator]
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Damage Control II

Balmer Series Tracking Disruptor I, Optimal Range Disruption Script
Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I
Warp Disruptor II
10MN Afterburner II

Drone Link Augmentor II
Medium Diminishing Power System Drain I
50W Infectious Power System Malfunction
50W Infectious Power System Malfunction

Medium Ancillary Current Router I
Medium Trimark Armor Pump I
Medium Trimark Armor Pump I

Hammerhead II x5
Hobgoblin II x10

We're looking to take on other cruisers and smaller. I'm looking for critiques on this fit and stuff I should add/remove. I'd like to stick with neuts/nos and tracking disruption, but anything else is fair game.

I would look into downsizing one of the neuts or the nos plus switching to a meta AB to free up enough PG to fit a 1600mm plate. I don't have EFT or other fitting tool on hand so I'm not sure exact amount you would need.

I would also throw in a flight of warrior IIs or acolyte IIs.

Thanks.

Could you possibly explain the differences? Why hull tanking on #2? Why no AB or MWD? What's the benefit of active tanking on #1?

When was the last time you went fishing and the bait was faster than the fish?

Oh, so one of the ships is intended to be bait. Understood.

I would go with 1600 plate and MWD. AB is simply too slow to catch anything. You can do 1600 plate with 4 small neuts, the range shouldn't be a problem as long as you managed to land web/scram on your target. Multiple small neuts are also more effective at capping out frigates than 2 medium neuts which would be your primary targets in lowsec. I haven't looked at the hull tanking vs armor tanking stats on the Arbitrator but if the buffer is similar, hull tanking provides a low powergrid cost option to get a good buffer while maintaining all your speed.

My advise is that you avoid fighting outside FW plexes if you can help it because getting kited is a very real concern in lowsec FW and even though you have drones to somewhat mitigate that weakness, multiple kite frigates can always pull range and warp out since it'll be very hard for you to land hard tackle. Also linked Garmurs are immune to drones completely so one of those could hold you down for a gang or whittle at you forever. Fighting on gates also mitigates pirates from blobbing you as long as you are not -5 or lower. However if you managed to get fights to come inside a medium that you've set up in you gain a huge advantage and is preferable to fighting on gates especially if you're in FW.

Still think this is the best fit for this tbh, can drop the guns/rockets for small neuts if you want. Needs a 3%cpu implant.

Alternatively for a true nano setup, even though the dps is pretty ******.

Vexor is all around way better.
