How long until prices equilibrate to new mega/zyd content?

Post patch I bought up a number of T1 mods whose prices were significantly (30-50%) lower than their new mineral values. Drones, Ammo, whatever. For items like Prototype Cloaks, where daily volume is extremely high vs. outstanding orders, prices have equilibrated relatively quickly. However, for some of the stuff I bought, people still seem to just be throwing it up at regional average + 10%.

How often are these regional averages recalculated? I assume the sellers are a combination of traders and manufacturers who put in a bunch of pre patch production, so I guess I should be able to just wait it out.

Any thoughts/advice? On paper the amounts I bought weren't insane (maybe 5 days of Jita supply).

I have no idea about the math behind the regional average, and honestly just ignore it.

Instead look at the actual market prices, trade volumes, stock volumes, etc.

Could be a month, or three.

As predicted, almost everyone I know have stopped their Tech 1 production of cruiser hulls and up - waiting for the stock to clear, and the mineral prices to fall, but preferably both.

Lowest player activity in the past 6 years doesn't help either - most spaceships aren't exploded as often as we'd like.

Indeed.

Between Amarr and Jita there is probably around 1,000 Vexors alone selling below the new build cost.

Think it is just stagnant null? Seems to be more to it.

Could be awhile since there is likely quite a bit of stock sitting in hangars. The volume for the last 5 days looks pretty much unchanged.

It is a complex issue, but Nullsecks conflicts have always driven this game. Read up on Great Eve War 1 and 2. Smile

And yet I have been selling 10/20 Vexor BPOs - money losing machines - at 350-395m ISK steadily for months.

Go figure.

The Tech 1-wide Tiericide hit three days ago. Blink

Sold my last Rokh from the SKINs decoupling for 193 mil just now - Not waiting for the price to rise to whatever peanuts that will be when the Prit/Pyerite/Mex rebalance (even) lower.

Yes I am well aware, started late 2005 after all.

The stagnation is larger than just null though

Null stagnation flows to the rest of the game.

No one wants to live in null anymore. There are literally entire regions that have been dropped in the past couple weeks and no one is taking that space. Rental empires were shattered, blocks lost their space, but no one wants to live in null. Null isn't stagnant, it's empty. No one wants it anymore.

Just wait for the new Sov Patch. At the moment new 0.0 alliance would still need to grind the Structures. So everybody is waiting for the 02.06. Then it will be decided what happens to 0.0
