Eve is Sandbox.. Make skins global ccp.

After mosaic updates a bug happened and some skins could applied anyother ship and we found chance to see unplanned some gorgeous ship skins. thx to bug. pls make skins universal.any capsuleer should be able to apply anyother factions ship skins on his/her ships as long as he/she buy licance. devs worried about ''lore'' too much.
I cant tell to gms &devs how eve is; after all they are ''game masters''.but as i capsuleer i have to say few words. First of alleve is sandbox.. we are not soldiers for npc corps or slaves as in my point. We are capsuleers. We are space mercaneries and we work for whoever we want ;npcs or players.. Our ancestry is nothing about our playstyle. I can born as caldari and work for gallente. and then i can work for amar if i want to.and there are mechanics that called standings& loyalty points. I can fly any faction ships as longs as i trained it. so why we cant get x faction ships skins on y factions ships? they are not paintjobs. they are nano-coatings. and its not related ship provider faction. We buy the licanes thru New Eden Store not from the factions itself.
Empire should allow us any kinds of coatings to use on our ships. At least if ccp worries about lore too much add standing restrictions. if i got x amount standings towards amarr i should be apply some skins to my caldari ships.

please ccp. if you are thinking only lore wised coatings it wont go any far..

This is CCP's game design choice, not yours. The sandbox is freedom amongst types of ships not all ships are capable of fitting everything. So why should skins be any different?

From a lore standpoint, the Amarrian ruling families would never allow their colors on other faction's ships. It just wouldn't be done. Quafe is a gallente corp, hence its logo is on everything Gallente.

The minute I fly into battle with my ship looking like a NASCAR race car with Coca Cola as my main sponsor and pay for that privilege, is the day I resign as a capsuleer.

Now if someone like Quafe will PAY ME for advertising while I kill hundreds, well, I'm willing to talk about it...

To buck the popular trend, I began to Rage Start instead of Rage Quit.

...and every time I get another piece of Carbon, I know exactly what CCP is getting this Christmas.

i totaly agree with you. if they were paintjobs that comes from bpc & industry as in past. but we use diffrent technology now.Pirate made & developed. we can change coatings anythime&anywhere in space. its not about x faction what likes or what nots. its about new eden. i cant say anything about t2 & navy ships. but on vanilla ships it would be great.



edit: amar family wont ask how i complete their mission or which ship i used to.. even in fw ones. why would ask about coatings..

The major Houses of Eve have bee with us from the very beginning, and I think we are trying to retain a reasonable Lore-based universe, not an absurdest one. Big smile
