Probing with beta map

Half Empty

This planet has 16 moons at it, you cant really tell from the new map but I promise it's true:
Can't really identify which moons are where or which moons I got results at. This is the maximum zoom in.
Tried mousing over to find out:
Doesn't tell you anything, no idea which moon each one is at etc. without looking elsewhere.
Cannot dscan with the new map either, it just doesn't interact with the d scanner at all. As someone who's d scanned with the map for 5+ years this is pretty unacceptable.

Now on the old map:
immediately can tell what is at which celestial and to be more precise you can very quickly mouse over:
and immediately see what you need.

In windowed mode I don't have space to have map next to the probe window. So when probing I have to focus on at a time.

Could the content in probing window be integrated with the new map when probing?

Oh yes. and what Capqu said. Probing with new map isn't near with the old one. There is few small things like probe movement.

Btw. bug I didn't yet report: If you close the map and reopen when the probes are out, the moving box resets to sun, but the probes are where they were last time.

The new map is also a lot worse for DScanning a system quickly IMO.

Another annoying bug
When we get a splitted result for the single anomaly the new map shows only one scan point and it seems this is always wrong point :)
And I always have to switch on the old map to see the second point and finish scanning.

Yeah, i thought when things are superseded, the replacement should not only meet the standard of all the aspects of the thing they are to replace, but to surpass it as well. I'm sure i'm not the only one to say this new map has a fair way to go before it is on par with the old map.

Back to the drawing board CCP, there just isn't enough lipstick around for this pig.
