1. Have a real (subscribed) eve acct.
2. http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=3358

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

well, then you can't get in. Deal with it.

Shocked

Hm ... game's coming out in a few months ... suppose I could alter my training plan and hop into a dread to take care of the problem Twisted

seriously though -- the attitude of "well, I don't play EVE, but I want one of you guys to give me a DUST beta code" is pretty annoying (same goes for the "I picked up a 14d trial, but don't know if I want to sub. Will someone give me a 60d trial code?" people).

Can't help you with your PC ... hope to the Flying Spaghetti Monster that they'll never go FTP.

Assuming that they stick with the "must have a valid EVE account" rule, I'd be surprised that they didn't check the login details for the active EVE account when trying to get into the beta (after giving you the code and rules) ...

... but then again ... one never knows.

why would hoping to my chosen deity that CCP never makes EvE free to play mean that I have no life?

Free to play are generally "meh" gameplay wise, and with P2W gimmicks thrown in, utterly not worth playing in the first place. Working for CCP doesn't sound like a half-bad idea, though with them having just laid off 20% of their people over the Incarna debacle ... I'm thinking it will be near impossible to land a job there.

Blasphemy!
Such a thing would be the down fall of the greatest game ever created and we simply will not allow it!

*raises hand*

So, now that we have that cleared up ...

code will cost you 50 bil ISK.

Confirming that I have an EVE account, a PS3, am excited for DUST 514.

Also confirming that there are no beta codes available yet for DUST 514, and anyone selling them to you is joking.

Seriously guys, this is Trial Q&A, not C&P. Be nice to the new guys.

You don't seem to understand how underwhelming dust is, sure you might mess with someones PI, otherwise you can't do jack **** to eve players. Even then eve players having access to mountains of isk from farming incursions can just order this bad boy http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/item.php?type_id=3522 so start running little piggy.

Shocked and to think, I was going to be looking at spending 1500x that thing's base price on a dread.

as for the AUR -- we've been able to pick it up for 6+ months now... I'm still trying to get rid of the buttloads I have on my toons (wonder if they'll let us transfer it to dust mercs... )
