NPC Corp Tax - what exactly gets taxed?

Hi, everyone. Another n00b question here.

I've been reading up on Player Corporations vs NPC Corporations but I haven't found a source yet that explains exactly what gets taxed in a NPC Corp. Is it only Mission rewards that get the 11% tax or do Market orders also get taxed at that same rate?

Mission rewards.

Market taxes depend on your standings vs. the station where you do the buying/selling.

Rather you should refer to the NPC Corp tax as the price for freedom. Twisted

Hey, thanks for that link. I've spent a lot of time on the EVElopedia recently but the information I search for isn't always indexed in the way I think it'd be, so sometimes I'm just not looking in the right place.

Just to clarify on rat bounties, as noone's been clear yet.

It's not just individual rats over 100k. Bounty is paid every 5 or so minutes in 'ticks'. If a tick exceeds 100k, NPC corp taxes apply to the entire tick. That can happen from killing a bunch of low value rats in a 5 minute period, or from killing one battleship rat.

It includes all types of rat bounty payouts.
