Launcher in Offline Mode

When I'm not logging in using powershell scripts I too seem to have the launcher telling me it's not having a good day. Has done for the past couple of days. Multiple relaunches make it eventually come back but saying server status (unknown), but seems to log in fine.

For the last 2-3 days my normally 100% rock solid install has been acting up, either saying theres no internet connection or just hanging.

After 2 or 3 tries it finally fires up OK.

Playing through steam account so can't just launch eve via exe. 2 days now without being able to play game.
~( x_x)~ tried restart few times but little luck.

Edit: Would make support ticket, but I know customer service is by now flooded with tickets of same topic.

Try exiting Steam and then launching EvE from the shortcut without opening Steam first. Seems to work for me when the launcher has issues.

New Eden isn't nice. It isn't friendly. It isn't very hospitiable. Good thing there are people here to shoot in the face.

Problem is it has to retrieve steam login information to launch. I can get the game running the way you described, but logging in will be other story. Steam accounts have this random "steam_user1927465738292747472829" as account name.

No, the shortcut opens Steam to launch the game. Don't open Steam on your own then start EvE.

really stupid point which could turn out to be complete BS but might not be......

ive had problems with the launcher for around a week, ive also had issues with sites loading, and yesterday had a problem with ustream which ive narrowed down to the auto update Flash did last tuesday. Yesterday i rolled back the version i have of flash on my PC, today, the launcher works fine. Coincidence? or not?

My EVE launcher was set to launch from C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\launcher\launcher.exe for a long time. Worked well. Then suddenly it would act like I was trying to go to a web page that didn't exist. I changed it to start from "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" and it's good now, but still, I wonder what the change in the first place was all about?

Same with me. And the game itself takes forever to load and login takes forever since the last big patch.

I've had the problem for the last few days. Thought it was my crappy laptop. Just keep pressing restart and it usually works after a couple of tries.

Also been having problems with launcher saying offline. and the game in general is having problems

- skill train graphic bugs
- could'nt use the route finder until I restarted
- warp drive active and docking permission voice is around 30 seconds out of sync with in game activity
- undocking black screen for 10 seconds

All started after SCYLLA

Eve is broke.

It's not EVE, there are nodes on the way having major issues/being attacked seriously.

Other Europe based MMO's are also having issues as a result.

confirms that on the 3 different clients this happens probably 2 in every 3 starts...
just closing the launcehr and re-opening tends to pop up with some random message but works there after

Still the only person to offer corp creation free of charge. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=35634#post35634 Created over 200 was 3rd on the all time corporation job history on eve-board. This service is in stasis due to personal game time...
