Only because the Empires have gimped AI that couldn't find it's way out of a wet paper bag and deliberately gimped NPC's that are so weak sauce noob ships can kill them. Otherwise there would be basically no room for player actions in high or low if the Empires were portrayed as actually competent inside the game.
I.E. Game reality != Lore reality.

Are you sure about that? Isn't it recently in Luminaire where the Caldari navy gave the finger to Concord and wrecked one of their battleship?

This is rather odd considering that just about every nullsec player I now thinks RP is like "nerd of nerds" stuff to be mocked and ridiculed.

That story is being spread inaccurately.

Now I can't say I fully remember the story ...
... but I remember a few inputs of people.

Like, how it was a ship from CONCORD,
which doesn't necessarily mean it was one of those uber-ships that kills criminals.

There are even missions out there where you go and shoot CONCORD ships ...
... but these too aren't the CONCORD we know from highsec.

CONCORD is an organisation.
They reacted to an offense towards a member of their organisation.

The AI is no challenge whatsoever.


Though even assuming that the faction police would be represented / replaced by players ...
... I'm sorry, but TEN THOUSAND GOONS can steamroll several systems at once.

And here I'm not even counting all the organisations that the goons are running or influencing.

At Fanfest, The Mittani bent the knee and kissed the ring (the one on his hand) of Max Singularity VI and has subsequently declared Max as the true leader of Amarr, instead of Empress Jamyl.

The photo was on reddit a couple of days ago.
