I have had this mission 3 times so far. Each time I have managed to pop the named rat before she enters the final room. Each time she dropped a can with a +3 implant.

Does this implant drop each time she is killed or just because I have killed her before she warped to the final room?

( do I get a +4 if I can pop her in the 1st room? Twisted)

Thanks

Sounds like the mission designers found a good way to randomise the mission so it doesn't end up being the same old everytime you run it?

I spent the last week farming this mission. I didn't take comprehensive notes as I was spending most of the time watching the baseball playoffs. Anyway, here's my impression:
I used a Scorpion Navy Issue and overtanked it with Mag and Heat amps and an invul. Even when aggroing entire rooms I don't think my shields went to below about 98% (95 if I didn't circle the gate). My first time through I bookmarked each room. Doing that allowed my combat ship and Noctis to go directly to any room I wanted once I made it through room one each day. As I was farming and not always available to play, I just did whatever rooms I could kill and salvage and then came back later in the day to kill/salvage more. As long as you leave Scarlet alive, the mission will spawn again on the daily reset.
Each day, I got between 30-35M ISK in bounties (I only got to get the 5M bounty on Scarlet on the last day). Salvage was okay, depending on what spawns I got, and loot was poor (since I was letting Scarlet live, I didn't see the implant drop. With Scarlet still alive I couldn't salvage the last room. Even with a tank-fitted Noctis, I was getting hammered pretty hard by her. If I was bored, I could come back with SNI salvage fit, but it wasn't worth the effort. Heck, not looting or salvaging at all doesn't really affect ISK% that much in this one.
I found that if I went through all the rooms, then came back around once, I was able to clear all the spawns for my Noctis. For me, either room one or two would have a delayed spawn. The third always had a delayed one. The last room had many spawns, but I didn't see any of them delayed.
If you farm and bookmark like I did, if you do run into a delayed spawn with your salvager, just swap ships, go directly to the toom to kill it, and salavage again. Note that you do not have to use the gates...just go directly to your bookmark.
I experienced Bloods, Gurista/Serps, and Angels. So I just kept a few thousand of each missile type in the hold and swapped out as needed. As there just aren't that many frigates, I just kept hobs/hammers in the drone bay rather than worrying about Warriors for the Angels.
In the end, a great mission to farm it a heavy tanked missile ship while cooking dinner, watching TV, working on a spreadsheet, or whatever. One week, about 250M in bounties, loot, & salvage.

I did this mission about 3 times. On the third time the Serpentis spawned at the gate. just before I killed the last few NPCS I warped in my Salvage Alt. The Serpentis Dissapeared then Angels warped in. Not sure if it was a bug or not but it was a nice surprise. Mission can be easily done with a Mach and a CNR if anyone is wierd like me. Ugh

Has anyone figured out if there is a limit to the number of spawns? I tried warping away came back and sure enough, a new spawn appeared but tried this again and nothing....

any ideas?

or maybe it's random I can't tell.

Every day in every way I improve my skills and get better.

Ran this yesterday. Had to warpout midway due to having the wrong tank setup to handle Blooders. Came back and the Blooders were gone in the second room and replaced with Guristas.

Interesting mission, bit of a ***** if you're a newer player but otherwise it's definately one of the more challenging L4's.

Thanks for the help. As far as this specific mission goes, its crazy and often respawns randomly. But you dont need anyones help, so why even join the discussion?

I've gotten this twice, and the difference between the two has been interesting. It does take a strong omnitank and multiple ammo types in general:

First time, did it in a Loki, which tanked with ease but took some time in the last room. Faced angels at the opening gate, Bloods in the first room, Serpentis in the second and Angels, Serpentis and Blood spawns in the last room. If make any move on Scarlett in the first room, she insta-warps. Never tried to target her in the second. After she falls in the final room, the mission is done but there seems to be 3-4 battleship spawns and you can collect bounties on those. There is also a spawn in the second room.

Second time, took my Vargur. Serpentis at the gate, then Bloods, then Serpentis, then Guristas and Serpentis in the final room. Got ultra-jammed by two Nullifiers and actually had to warp out to touch out my armor. When I returned to the first gate, there was a new Angel spawn! That was interesting, but I don't know if my return triggered it or if it is timed.

Can confirm that Scarlett's station drops nothing and takes a LOT of ammo.

I don't bother nobody.

Just a few more notes:
Guristas and Serps always show up. Bloods and Angels fill in the gaps. About 90% of the time the Guristas jam (sometimes the cruisers, sometimes the BSs, sometimes both). So when loading up ammo bring Kinetic, EM, and Explosive types, go a little heavier with the Kinetic since more Guristas and Serps show up, and definitely load in Kinetic FoF for what can be rather long jamming cycles.
If farming, be very careful with your salvage ship. I've be absolutely sure that all the spawns were over and then 10-20 seconds after warping in with my Noctis, I get a spawn. You'll have enough time to warp out before getting blown up...but not if you stepped away or get hung up on a gate or something. As this one doesn't tend to drop a lot of good salvage or loot (I'd call it average), you can always skip this step.
Still, a great mission to farm. Having BS killing ammo and drones definitely help on this one. My CNR completes the mission about 20% faster than my Tengu.

I actually switched from my Domi to my Gila for this. it is easier to omni tank a shield tank. Of the top of my head I had a passive omni tank of just over 400. I had no problems. I did miss my 2x omni's in the mids, didn't realise just how big a difference they made.

The npcs are random.
So there can be jamming, sensor dampening, etc.
Omni-tank is best and if you're using projectiles and/or missiles, bring a little bit of every damage type and change depending on what you're fighting.
The dps isn't a whole lot, but if you fit to counter every possible thing they might throw at you, your tank can break if you don't know what to prioritize. It's a fun mission and can net you a lot of isk if you know what you're doing.
I can complete this mission using a maelstrom with 1400mm t2 artillery with an omni-tank that's not cap stable at all, for what it's worth. I also fit a sensor booster to help with dampening and one ECCM in a mid slot and one in a low replacing a tracking enhancer.
It's definitely not a mission for low sp pilots.

I had < 7mil SP when I did it. And the rewards were a lot higher back then. Weird part was when I came back in a noctis after the mission had green flagged Scarlet and her goons spawned in the second room. Needless to say my poor noc got popped and I petitioned it like a ****** when I should've been farming that s*** all day long.

I ran this yesterday in a gang of three. You come across different types of NPC's so it's best to fit an omni tank and in the second pocket there is heavy ECM, it's also good to supply yourself with missiles or similar with different types of resist damage. The trigger will be found at every pocket but you cannot destroy it until the fourth and final pocket as it warps out before you can kill it (which is also the trigger).

I did not run into any of the bug problems reported a while back and mission completed with no problems either.

Loot and bounties are quite good, comparable to Guristas Extraveganza as Orlacc stated.

Not sure if someone said this but it is possible to kill the trigger ship in the third pocket, and if you can I suggest doing so as she drops a decent implant if you kill her then.

Also this is an easy mission to farm isk because of the respawns in some spots. Although bringing friends along can make it tougher due to possibility of spawning more ships.

the gurista room/respawns were a pain i recall. sat in a torp golem prema jammed for 25 min slowly trying to send in drones when i had a breif lock. remember thinking eccm or fof cruiser cnr would do a beter job.
