returned from long absence - where should I now call home?

Ok,

I've been dabbling in Eve since almost launch and I never really had the time to play - but I seem to have developed a reasonable character 27m skill points... I have a nice ship (as far as I'm concerned anyway), Loki. And I have about 700 items scattered around the galaxy - 21 separate stations.

I've never really focused on one gameplay type, I have industry ships, exploration, combat again all scattered. Right now I was thinking about playing a little with trading - I never really dabbled with that before...

I've never really participated in a Corp as I'm never regularly on so hardly a benefit to any group of players (not that I'm against joining one at all).

I think I've been playing as a nomad for so long that now I'm back I don't know where to start again! Right now I seem to have found myself in Algintal/Sinq Laison.

Anyway - onto the question. I have all these items everywhere - I'm thinking about focusing on trade/industry for the moment where should I call home? Do I focus on an existing station that has some reasonable stock of resources?, A station near resources, are there good trading hubs to focus my attention on?

Any advice moving forward is appreciated...

Jita is your friend.

In one form or another.....your new career will begin there.

Good luck.

Destiny always seems decades away, but suddenly it's not decades away; it's right now. But maybe destiny is always right now, right here, right this very instant, maybe.

Mixed high sec corp / alliance or better supply a Null Sec trade hub, put up buy contracts use BPCs, make and move things.

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

You could be uber metro trendy and join Karma Fleet, the Goon BRAVE wannabe... not that you should assume I'm giving any respect to BRAVE.

Sounds like you previous gamestyle is kind of lack concentration and focus not sure that would help you much with trading.

Try some sort of exploration which is more fun than 0.1 isk war.
