It's not the best use, simply cause you cannot easily move it in and out of systems...
No MWD, no cloak, and ofc too darn expensive. Why spend that much money on it, when you can do almost the same on more versatile platforms with less ISK?

A pretty good drake variant I've encountered (and got killed to it 1-2 times) was a probing, heavy tackling drake...Russians were flying it in EOA area. No KM handy (i did got 1-2 down i think). You can pretty easily EFT one i guess...
