Graphics issue... Not sure if it's a bug so posting here.

Replication.

Launch ship into space [I was using a Dominix, testing SKINS].

Observe ship from close range, so it's ~50% screen size

Move ship into shadow, so star is behind station [if not in shadow already] and come to a complete stop.

Observe ship is dark as it is in shadow.

Slowly zoom out, at some distance, the ship suddenly gets brighter, like it's suddenly in sunlight.

zooming back in it goes dark again.



I have screen-shots of this occurring.

If you think this is a bug then I will file a full BR... but I didn't know if this was an intended effect.

Try the same thing with HDR disabled in the graphics menu.
