Its been my general experience to find that not everyone likes the same thing. For example, Last week Phil and I were talking about music and what kind of music we liked when we were younger. You see back in my day we didnt care about someones butt or singing about them. We had real songs that had meaning. Songs that made you stop and think about your own life and how things could be better or worse. This reminds me, Last week Phil and I were talking about music and what kinds of music we liked when we were younger. Songs in our day had meaning! Phil was into early rock and I cant blame him. It was good. But Im a Jazz man myself. Songs in my day wasn't about butts or shaking them at the camera. We had real songs with meaning! They made you stop and think about your life and such.

Every song ever written is about one thing. Getting laid.

Different tune. Different lyrics. Same topic.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with null sec overlords and their satelites, this game mechanics allowed them to be such fat and rich. There are also a lot of high sec shaded overlords doing their own things.

Thread owner - please don't care about fozziesov and what would happen next. As non of null sec population should only if you decide to test your balls and dive into it.

The majority of null sec population will stay there no matter of local drama and biatching and winning. Cause this is the lifestyle they are accepted and don't want to change. With some exceptions ofc. We might see some movements from high into null but not a great move. In this regard low sec might be the funniest place where both sides will meet in search of content.

Will see.

Im Batman, and i dont care about any of this.

Destiny always seems decades away, but suddenly it's not decades away; it's right now. But maybe destiny is always right now, right here, right this very instant, maybe.

I would rather put my cigarette out in my... eye... than go to null.

That's not entirely fair. Some of them have been about the other end of the spectrum too.

Aint CCP "vision" to allow us to carve space to our liking? if so and with the introduction of alot of the structures, i honestly would not be surprised if everything became null sec n it was upto us to make the space wee wanted. whether it be what is hi-sec in what is the now deep null sec or null sec in what is now hi-sec

The illusion of hi-sec that u live in needs to fall tbh, an yeah that comes from a big fat carebear

New Eden needs shaken up an if it means the fall of empire space so be it, but terms like hi/low an null need to be left at the door and just "space" is left for all of us to bend an shape as wee see fit

I assume your full question is "Why should I care about the changes to SOV mechanics (mostly, Entosis Links) that have been proposed?"

You should care because you play EVE, and EVE happens in a single shard universe where everything everybody does effects everybody else, so changes to SOV effect everybody no matter what they do, as long as the log on. Might not be a large enough effect to be noticeable, maybe nothing more than a 0.1% change in the price of veldspar lost in in noise of normal market forces, but there will be SOME effect. Once the changes go into effect, if the only impact to your personal gameplay is a 0.1% change in the price of veldspar I think it'd be perfect normal to then no longer care about the changes to SOV - but before the changes, when none of us really know what will happen, I think it's important for everybody to care regardless of what region of EVE they play in.

Depending on the upcoming major updates, you'll hear alot about one thing for a while, till the next big thing.

Prior to SOV changes, were Wormhole updates, which had less vocal discussions but still forums were filled with WH topics.

Then before that were the major Industry changes, which may have very well outdone SOV outcries.

Once SOV is done will probably have everyone focused on structures... and ccp nakedman.

Evacuating renters are pretty much some of the best people to declare war on. For that reason paying attention to changes in mechanics and the resultant movement of players is sometimes interesting to me.

However you're not wrong OP, people do live in highsec. However most of the people who live in highsec predominately don't actually want anything interesting to change in highsec, generally speaking they just ask for CCP to remove more of the PVP. Somehow I don't think that would do much to make the game better.

Eve is an experiment to see what happens when you put 30,000 Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) sociopaths on the same server.

At least it keeps us off the streets
