Amen and +1 to that. While I'm glad people decide to use rl money for plex (which feeds the plex market I survive on) it's mystifying to me how incredibly bad one has to be to not be able to accumulate 27 million isk per day (the daily price of a plex) per character.

Hmmm.....I ran a relic site yesterday. The in-game price thingy said the loot was worth 20 million. So.....lessee here.....I was logged in for about three hours, made 20 mil.....

....so a little less than 7 mil/hour?

When I'm at home relaxing running in an incursion fleet and drinking I'm not at work dealing with literally some of the worst human beings on earth. The fact that I can make enough to plex 4 accounts with 2 hours of overtime is meaningless. That's the point, you do what makes sense for you, I'll do what makes sense for me. The "just work and use plex" people never ever understand that (and if everyone did that, plex would be worthless).

I've estimated I make between 35 and 55 million ISK per hour running L4 missions solo in null. That's LP + bounty, but not salvage or loot. The price variation comes from how dedicated I am to the task, and what the markets are doing at the time. Interestingly, that's about seventy cents to a buck twenty per hour in RM but somehow it seems worth it. Part of it is because I'm online and on fleet comms, so it's a social activity.

It's not much, really - I don't PLEX my account, and instead sub in three-month increments - but it's enough to keep me stocked in my normal PvP ships which is all I'm interested in.

realistically I only make about 20-30mill / hr and that's doing wormhole combat sites in my cane
mining about 3 mill/ hr in a venture in high sec (but it is kinda non-playing really)

I once hit 1.46 billion an hour with 12 accounts. I had a magical alignment of the gods for a good couple hours.


I of course am discounting any station trading I've done and similar such things. My figure sticks to active play for one hour a tick.
