Just subbed, and reinstalled and all that good stuff. And whenever I have the launcher ready to start, I hit the play button, it says Launching, and nothing happens. Sit there and wait a few minutes, still no EVE. I have had it download the 7.6gb download 2 times and it makes no difference.

Last time I uninstalled, deleted the folders, restarted computer. Downloaded fresh install, completed that. Opened Launcher, let it run its update, done. Waited for the 7gb download to finish. Ran rescache.exe found nothing wrong. Opened Launcher again, let it download its update, then ran a repair on it nothing. It will show the process in the Task Manager, no matter what combination I have used to get this to work I get stuck on that. Nothing on the screen and a running process.

Can any veterans tell me how often this crap happens? This is two nights in a row. What am I paying a subscription fee for exactly?

I have literally spent the better half of 10 hours trying to figure out why the game will not start, and so far I have found nothing that will seem to fix the god forsaken thing. Getting a little aggravated at this point.

I have also tried client via Bit Torrent with just as much fail. Also bypassing the launcher does nothing. So it could be an issue with the game itself rather than the launcher? I am running this game via a laptop, the strange thing is back in September I had the client installed and working, now I don't know why it won't work for me no matter what I try.

New Edit: 11:30am
I reverted back to the manufacturers driver for the intel chipset, also a fail. I had to remove and delete the toshiba drivers and force it to use the actual Intel drivers. Homeworld Remastered had a field day trying to use a driver that supported the shaders it needed but wasn't built into the driver by toshiba. Thinking this would fix the issue I did it, to no avail.

New Edit: 12pm
I tried to run the repair tool, and it seems to go through? it only says 2/7 tasks were actually done and doesn't seem to find any errors. I can send it to somebody maybe as when I post it here it states that I can't use HTML when I'm not actually using HTML.

Hi,

Please navigate to your EVE installation folder and run rescache.exe and see if that resolves your issue. If that does not resolve your issue then you should file a support ticket.

Already done that, unfortunately I do not have the patience to wait, so I shall continue my vigilant struggle against this obstacle until I either fix it myself, or fix it with help.
