So this is what happened early this morning when I tried to pop on to check a few things ingame.

Upon launcher start up, I wasn't seeing the login and password fields. The launcher was showing about 21k players online at the time. Next thing I did was to try and launch eve via the exefile.exe (The old trick to bypass the horrible launcher)

This gave me the old login screen where I saw the login and password fields along with the number of active people on server.

SO, you can see why I didn't think to check if the actual cluster and forums were online. I should have done this first as I have come to learn.

When this login process didn't work, I went and used the repair tool thinking that my launcher was corrupt. This has fixed launcher issues in the past. I even ran the rescache.exe which told me that I had zero corruptions. (I was able to browse the forums but not login; to check for solutions and if others were having issues)

Anyways, so after running the repair tool while CCP was experiencing connection issues; the entire sharedcache folder was nuked by it. Atm, I'm redownloading 7.5gigs again as download on demand is horrible ingame. Everything stutters and is jerky and delayed.

So yeah, next time anyone is having issues with logging in, CHECK to see if the CLUSTER IS ONLINE, otherwise repair tool will nuke your enitre SharedCache folder.
